In the fall of 2000 , 5 year old Lindsey Frank was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Having a daughter of about the same age my heart sank and I felt I needed to do something. At this time I had written the song "Chasing The Wind" first about my daughter, Tess and then ultimately about Lindsey. I immediately called my good friend and producer Tom Dean and told him I needed to record a new song as soon as possible. A few weeks later Lindsey cd's were everywhere and the proceeds were going to help the Frank family . Lindsey lost her battle on March 5th 2002. I will always admire the Frank family for their courage and Lindsey will always have a special place in my heart. - Eric
